An extremely soothing and melodic quick listen! The middle tracks- Angel of Ashes, Boy Child, and Hero of War, were a highlight to me, a lot of squences in this span that illict this sort of fluttering emotion.

Hero of the War stands out especially considering the subject matter and the cherry tone juxtaposed with the harsh yet simple realities of what it means to be a survivor / glorified participant of conflict.

Segways nicely into the Old Mans Back Again too which is also a highlight but that's a given. This record inspired me to give the rest of his discography a shot!

Angelica is gonna be stuck in my head for a while- and goddamn was the introuction to this album a lot grander and a big shift from the much quieter Scott 4.

This project was a little bit longer but it felt like it went by shorter- the way he paces his songs is so interesting. There is a lot of heart break present in this track and it is a lot more dramatic and laced with a lot of swelling emotions.

Angelica, Such a Small Love, and Always Coming Back to you- these are probably my favorites. Amsterdam is such a wild closer- the shift too from all these little break up ballads to delve into a douchebag type beat is so real of him tho.
